Trevor Hoppen is a composer of the expressionist style familiar to the 1930’s & 40’s. His bold and full-colour, expressionist paintings are reminiscent of a bygone era when abstraction was experimental. Kaleidoscopes often feature in Hoppens work...someone said to me, “It’s all about scopes for you, the eye—piece…they have been an ongoing theme in my work...I am influenced by Kandinsky and my peers.” Trevor Hoppen.
Trevor paints, draws, works on ceramics and dreams up new ideas from his home amongst the trees.
